Shirley Anne Smith, a wife and working mom of three children, and the executive director of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation, has raised more than $1.5 million in support of the 1,100 City of Atlanta firefighters.
In 2019 the Foundation instrumental in funding a study that led to a historic pay raise for the City of Atlanta's Fire Rescue Department and she led that effort in tandem with the both the Mayor and the Fire Chief. During the pandemic, she’s tirelessly elevated the urgency for support to provide PPE and nourishment for first responders who had to be mindful of contact and social distancing.
Tao Communications works closely with Shirley Anne, her staff and her board to promote the Foundation’s mission and to recognize the supporters, funders and the firefighters they serve.
